A Murder is Announced and Will Take Place in November

Gaslight Theater is announcing a change in its season schedule, but will still be hosting a murder this fall.

Gaslight was not able to obtain the performance rights for Agatha Christie's "Murder at the Vicarage", originally scheduled for November.

So Director Linda Duarte has selected another Christie thriller, "A Murder is Announced", also featuring the redoubtable Miss Marple.

An announcement in the local paper states the time and place when a murder is to occur in Miss Blacklock's Victorian house. The victim is not one of the house's several occupants, but an unexpected and unknown visitor. What follows is a classic Christie puzzle of mixed motives, concealed identities, a second death, a determined Inspector grimly following the twists and turns, and Miss Marple on hand to provide the final solution at some risk to herself in a dramatic confrontation just before the final curtain.

A Murder is Announced will open November 13th (yes, it's a Friday) at Gaslight Theater and run through November 22nd.
