Good-bye 2013 Season, Hello 2014

Gaslight Theater thanks our directors, actors, stage crew and house staff and volunteers but most of all you, our audience, for a sucessful 2013 season.

An exciting 2014 lies ahead. Here is what we have planned:

Mornings at Seven

  • directed by Bruce Hertz

A story of four aging sisters living in a small midwestern town in 1038, this play deals with the ramifications within the family when two of the sisters begin to question their lives and decided to make changes before it's too late. A bittersweet comedy, Morning's at Seven will open on March 20th, 2014.

The Bat

  • by Mary Roberts Rinehart and Avery Hopwood
  • directed by Lynette Miller

What happens when a strong-willed woman of "a certain age" rents a house in the country, the proceeds from a bank robbery are nmissing, a mysterious master criminal is on the loose, the cook quits and bodies are piling up? Come see. The Bat will open Friday the 13th of June, 2014.

Venus in Fur

  • by David Ives
  • directed by Richard Bostwick

Smart, hunny and provocative, this two-person plau involves a playwright and an actress and their struggle for dominance while reading his adaptation of a classic erotic novel. Show dates will be in late July-early August 2013.

Boo

  • by Albert DeMond
  • directed by Linda Duarte

A series of short stories taken mockingly from classic horroc fils, including The Cat Creeps and Frankenstein. A thrill for audiences of all ages. Boo will run October 24 through November 2, 2014
