Abracadabra! It's the Cast of Cinderella (Enchanted Edition)

Producer's Note: Hannah Stetson has now joined the cast!

Director Deborah Howard has announced the cast for Gaslight Theater's fall production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's "Cinderella (Enchanted Edition)."

Kelsey Gibbs as Cinderella and Joel Biron as Prince Christopher will meet and fall in love to the well-loved Rodgers and Hammerstein score, featuring such songs as "It's Impossible", "In My Own Little Corner" and "10 Minutes Ago".

Teresa Curley Beaudoin as Cinderella's Wicked Stepmother and Elinor Strandskov and Helen Ayotte as not-so-nice Stepsisters do their best to prevent a happy ending.

The King and Queen, Bill Haley and Dorothy Schull, anguish over their son's romantic future, while his faithful steward Lionel (Tom Dix) struggles to keep up with all the royal demands.

And as everyone knows, a Fairy Godmother, Jen Cart, is the magic ingredient who makes the path to true love run smooth.

Townspeople, party-goers, cats, mice, horses and footmen round out the cast, all played by Gwenyth Fraser, Lynette Miller, Chris Cart, and Henrik Strandskov.

Deborah Howard directs the production, assisted by Linda Duarte. Brad Howard is the Music Director.

This version of Cinderella, based on an updated 1997 teleplay, is the ideal early holiday season family event, with a special matinee ticket price for children 12 and under. Show dates are:

  • November 11th and 12th, 7:30 pm
  • November 13th, 2:00 pm matinee
  • November 17th, 18th and 19th, 7:30 pm
  • November 20th, 2:00 pm matinee

Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for students and seniors (60 and up). For the Sunday matinees (November 13th and 20th) children 12 and under will be admitted for $8.
