Auditions Announced for Rabbit Hole

Director Lee Kerr will hold auditions for Rabbit Hole by David Lindsay-Abaire, Sunday August 16 and Monday 17th, 6:00 pm, at Hallowell City Hall Auditorium.

Becca and Howie Corbett have everything a family could want, until a life-shattering accident turns their world upside down and leaves the couple drifting perilously apart.

Rabbit Hole charts their bittersweet search for comfort in the darkest of places and for a path that will lead them back into the light of day.  Backstage says, "With Rabbit Hole, David Lindsay-Abaire has crafted the most serious, simply told work of his career—a painstakingly beautiful, dramatically resourceful, exquisitely human new play."

Rabbit Hole is the winner of the 2007 Pulitzer Prize for drama, and is written by the author of last season's "Wonder of the World.  The playhas a cast of five, 3 women and 2 men. The characters are:

  • Becca: late 30s or early 40s
  • Izzy: Becca's sister, early 30s
  • Howie: Becca's husband, late 30s or early 40s
  • Nat: Becca and Izzy's Mother, mid-60s
  • Jason: late teens

The show dates are November 5, 6, 7 and 12, 13, 14, 2009.
